Day 5

The boys begin their trek to the Roaring Forks Dining Hall.

Wednesday, June 5th began with a charge in the air. It was the day of the talent show, and everyone was- at least a little- excited. After breakfast and the daily flag ceremony, the city and county governments were open for business. A bittersweet moment, it would be the last time the boys would have the opportunity to work within their cities and counties. Lunch soon approached, and the boys had a General Assembly where two state house representatives spoke to the boys about state government procedures. Then, the state government re-opened for business.

The boys of Walker write bills that are to be presented before the House and Senate.
